Families with children begin worship together in the Sanctuary. After the Children’s Message has been given, they go to Church School. Middle and high school students meet during this time for discussion of faith and current events.
Expanding the youth group to include fourth graders breathes vibrant new energy into our community and creates a vital bridge for early fellowship. Welcoming these students allows them to establish deep, faith-based friendships and a sense of belonging just as they begin navigating the complexities of upper elementary school. By stepping into this supportive environment earlier, fourth graders gain access to positive peer relationships and older mentors who help model collaborative discipleship. This intentional early integration not only enriches the collective dynamic of the youth group with fresh enthusiasm but also builds a strong, continuous foundation for collaborative growth, lasting fellowship, and shared spiritual milestones for years to come.
Presenting a Bible to children is a momentous milestone that honors both their spiritual growth and persistent dedication. This special ceremony marks a transition from listening to foundational Bible stories to engaging directly with the text as an independent reader and thinker. Commemorating these years of diligent learning—whether through a formal church presentation or an intimate family gathering—signals to the child that their commitment is deeply valued by their community. By receiving a full Scripture text of their own, children are not just given a book, but are entrusted with a lifelong tool for personal faith, reflection, and guidance as they step confidently into the next chapter of their spiritual journey.
Confirmation is for 7th–9th-grade youth seeking to join the church and grow in their spiritual knowledge. A structured confrimation program is developed and led by the Pastor. Opportunities to explore one’s faith formation journey, learn our faith’s history and what it means to belong to a church as well as explore other faith practices.
