Back to School Gift Certificates

Remember how exciting it was to go to school with a new outfit and school shoes? This is not the experience for many low-income families who come to the Calico Food Pantry and Cupboard.
Low-income families have many hardships, including low-paying jobs, inflation, housing and high gas prices.
This is the 28th year that the Calico Cat Pantry & Cupboard unites with the Community Outreach Group, comprised of 9 other congregations. Together, we will provide $50 gift certificates to 40-50 school-aged children. This blessing, for parents as well as the children, is only possible through the help of God’s people. We are God’s hands. Please help if you are able.
You may leave your donation in the offering plate or mail checks to the church. Please make checks payable to Holmdel Community UCC and note “Back to School” on the check.
